Leashed dogs welcome on the beach strand all year; in the cooler season (Oct 15 – Mar 15) dogs may go off-leash under control — but may not be taken off-leash into the surf or water.

- Leash required at all times Mar 16 – Oct 14
- Off-leash Oct 15 – Mar 15 under owner control; handler must carry a leash
- Off-leash dogs may NOT enter the surf/water
- Voice command and e-collars are not recognised restraints
- Town dog registration + rabies form required for local registration
